How we collect, use, and protect your personal information
This Privacy Policy describes how Convenient Browsing collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have control over your personal information. By using Convenient Browsing, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Information We Collect
Usage Information
When you use Convenient Browsing, we may collect certain information about your usage of the app, including but not limited to: browsing history, websites visited, search queries, time spent on webpages, features used, and interactions with the app's interface. This information is collected locally on your device and is not automatically sent to our servers unless explicitly permitted by you.
Device Information
We may collect information about the device you use to access Convenient Browsing, including: device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, network information, and battery status. This information helps us optimize the app for your specific device and troubleshoot technical issues.
Account Information
If you choose to create an account or purchase a subscription, we may collect information such as your email address, Apple ID (for subscription management), and payment information (processed through Apple's secure payment system). We do not store complete payment details on our servers.
Personal Information
Convenient Browsing does not require you to provide personal information to use the basic features of the app. Any personal information you choose to provide (such as when contacting support) is used solely for the purpose for which it was provided.
Passwords and Credentials
When using the Secure Password Storage feature, your website credentials are stored locally on your device using iOS Keychain, which is encrypted and secured by Apple's security framework. We do not have access to your stored passwords, and they are never transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly enable synchronization through iCloud Keychain.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide and improve the functionality of Convenient Browsing
- To personalize your browsing experience
- To block trackers and protect your privacy
- To generate AI summaries of web content (processed locally on your device)
- To provide digital wellness insights based on your browsing patterns
- To manage subscriptions and process payments

- To comply with legal obligations
Local Processing
Convenient Browsing is designed with privacy as a core principle. Most data processing, including AI article summarization and browsing history analysis, occurs locally on your device. This means your personal information and browsing data generally do not leave your device unless you explicitly choose to share it (for example, when reporting a problem to support).
Information Sharing and Disclosure
Convenient Browsing does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:
Service Providers
We may engage third-party service providers to perform functions on our behalf, such as payment processing (handled by Apple), analytics, and customer support. These service providers have access to the information needed to perform their functions but are prohibited from using it for other purposes.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (such as a court or government agency).
Protection of Rights
We may disclose information when we believe it is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. These measures include:
- Encryption of data stored on your device
- Secure communication protocols when data is transmitted
- Local storage of sensitive information using iOS security features
- Regular security updates and vulnerability assessments
While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we continuously work to improve our security measures.
Your Choices and Controls
You have control over your information when using Convenient Browsing:
Tracker Blocking
You can enable or disable tracker blocking in the app settings at any time. You can also view the list of blocked trackers and manage exceptions for specific websites.
Browsing History
You can clear your browsing history at any time through the app settings. You can also enable private browsing mode, which does not save your browsing history.
Password Management
You can view, edit, or delete stored passwords through the password manager feature. You can also disable the password storage feature entirely if desired.
Subscriptions
You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings, as described in the App Store terms and conditions.
Data Deletion
To delete all data associated with Convenient Browsing, you can uninstall the app from your device. This will remove all locally stored information, including browsing history and saved passwords.
Children's Privacy
Convenient Browsing is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the app and updating the effective date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Continued use of the app after any modifications to the Privacy Policy constitutes acceptance of those changes.
